I’m Wilfred — founder and artist at Studio Woof.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the creative process — the interplay of colour, light, and form. From early childhood, painting and illustration were second nature, eventually guiding me into a formal path in design and architecture. I hold both a Bachelor and Master of Architecture, but throughout that journey, my love for painting remained constant — a quiet but powerful thread I always returned to.

It wasn’t until I brought home my own dogs that my creative path found its truest purpose. Wanting to honour them, I painted their portraits — not just to remember how they looked, but to capture their spirit. That act resonated deeply, and soon I was creating commissioned pieces for friends, family, and pet lovers who wanted the same lasting tribute.

Studio Woof was born from that love — of dogs and pets, of painting, and of the meaningful connections we share with our companions. Each portrait I create is entirely hand-painted, with careful attention to detail, character, and emotional resonance. I take on a limited number of commissions to ensure every piece receives the time and care it deserves.
